Though their regular season didn’t end the way they would have liked it to, the Pella Christian baseball team still finished strong heading into postseason play tomorrow night. The Eagles did win a pair of close contests over PCM and Des Moines Christian before falling 13 – 12 to Davis County on Wednesday to conclude the 2013 regular season, and Coach Nate Johnson says he has been very happy with the improvement he has seen from his guys with each passing game. The 14 – 17 Eagles will head to Albia tomorrow to play Colfax-Mingo in round one of the Class 2A baseball district tournament.
