Two walk off base hits highlighted the Knoxville Baseball Squad’s home finale last night as the Panthers swept Oskaloosa 5-4 in the first game and 4-3 in the nightcap. Jared McClung was the hero in game one as he hit an R-B-I double and Jac Agan provided the heroics in the nightcap. Jake Kendall was the winning pitcher in game one pitching 5 2/3 innings of relief and raising his record to 3-0 on the season, while Kevin Woodhouse pitched the distance for the Panthers in game two earning the win. Knoxville is now 15-13 on the season and finishes 11-7 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, good enough for second place and can guarantee a winning season overall with at least a split with Fairfield on Friday night.
