It was a split decision for the Knoxville Baseball Squad last night against Eddyville-Blakesburg in a varsity doubleheader. The Panthers fell in game one 10-4 with Ross Shelford taking the loss going 4 2/3 giving up seven runs on ten hits, one walk, and two strikeouts. However in the nightcap, Kevin Woodhouse earned the win in a 4-3 victory. He pitched the distance giving up three runs on eight hits, three walks and struck out five. He also went 2/3 at the plate. Knoxville is now 11-12 on the season and will travel to Albia this morning for a varsity double header, first pitch is scheduled for 10:30.
