It was a close affair the first time both Melcher-Dallas and Southeast Warren met in the regular season, and now the two baseball squads will go head-to-head in the Class 1A district quarterfinals tonight. The Warhawks clipped the Saints 6 – 3 almost a month ago and currently hold a 15 – 7 record while Melcher-Dallas is 7 – 11 entering play. The Saints have been on a roll lately and everything resets in the postseason says head coach, Jon Suntken. The quarterfinal match-up between the two schools will take place in Pleasantville and gets going at around 5:00 p.m.
