Saydel showed why they are a force to be reckoned with in their Class 3A district tournament by limiting PCM’s baseball squad to just two hits in a 6 – 0 win on Monday. The only two knocks for the Mustangs came from Nate VandeWall, who also drew two walks, and Alek Breckenridge. Saydel jumped all over pitcher Austin Brown early for all six of those runs, which came in the first two frames. PCM drops to 18 – 14, and Montezuma is next on their schedule for tomorrow.
