The PCM softball team fared well in a tournament at Mid-Prairie Wellman on Saturday. The day began with a win over Clear Creek-Amana 5 – 2. Eighth-grader, Kayla Jennings walloped a three-run homer, Shelby Palm was 3-for-4; Abbi Gilson, Makenna Van Veen and Molly Vignovich all had two hits in that first game. The Mustangs dropped the nightcap, 5 – 4 to New London. PCM softball now has a record of 17 – 13, and they are back at it tomorrow at Saydel to begin their final week of the regular season.
