It may have been a short stay for the Central softball team in Wisconsin for the 2013 NCAA Division III finals, but the Dutch took away plenty of fond memories of their trip to the national tournament. Coach George Wares said he remembers the experience and the banquet they attended, and just seeing the girls enjoy themselves. Softball-wise, Wares says he was happiest with their performance in the elimination game with Texas-Tyler. The game went to extras, with the Dutch on the losing end of a 5 – 4 final. Central will part with five seniors from their 2013 roster.
