Central graduates Cody Baethke and Charles Friday have been hired as assistant coaches for the Dutch in various positions. Baethke will be helping coach football and baseball while Friday will be the assistant strength and conditioning coach. Baethke was a four-time letterwinner for Central’s football team as a defensive back, and was also a member of the Dutch track and field squad. In his time on the gridiron, Central amassed a 46 – 9 record. Friday just recently graduated from Central with a degree in exercise science and strength and conditioning in 2012. He has been at Tarleton State University the past year as a graduate assistant in Stephenville, Texas helping with strength and conditioning.
