Volleyball, women’s golf and both men’s and women’s soccer at Central get their fall season officially started today. Coach Kent Clayberg and his Dutch volleyball team are looking to put 2012 behind them and start fresh with four matches in two days in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Today, they’ll face Pacific of Oregon and Colorado College. The Dutch women’s golf team finished fifth in the Iowa Conference tournament last fall and they’ll be at the Mt. Mercy Invitational today and tomorrow at Hunters Ridge Golf Course. Finally, the Central men’s and women’s soccer teams are looking to stay on the roll they’ve been on over the last few seasons with a pair of games tonight; the Dutch women play St. Catherine in Minnesota and the men are in the “Gateway to the West,” St. Louis to take on Washington.
