Pella Christian and Lynnville-Sully square off later tonight on the Eagles’ field to get their 2013 seasons underway. The Eagles lost a lot of speed with Caleb Morgan, Derek Van Kooten and Michael Mason all graduated. They do return Coltin Collins who will again be under center and whose passes look more accurate, according to head coach, Rich Kacmarynski. He says Collins is also a threat on the ground. For Class A Lynnville-Sully, they lose their main passing threat of Cale Van Wyk and one of their top wide receivers, Nathan Russell. Back, though, is Bailee Samson, who rushed for almost 1,400 yards and 17 TDs in 2012. You can hear tonight’s game between the Eagles and Hawks streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Jaime Brockman on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage starts at 7:00 p.m. with kickoff pushed back a half an hour to 7:30 because of the heat. There will also be a delayed broadcast of the game on 92.1 KRLS following the KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Radio Scoreboard Show.
