Two golfers and two football players have been named to the Central College Athletics Hall of Honor. Central’s hall of honor is intended to recognize those student-athletes, coaches or administrators that have achieved great things after graduation through service and leadership. Being inducted are All-American running back, Mark Kacmarynski of the class of ’96, defensive back and coach Brian O’Donnell of the class of ’70, three-time Iowa Conference women’s golf MVP Cindy (Kline) Olson from the class of ’88, and golfer, professional and coach John Bermel from the class of ’84. These four individuals will be inducted during the Dutch’s homecoming festivities on September 27 and 28. There will be a banquet on the 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Harry and Bernice Vermeer Banquet Hall in the Graham Conference Center, and the actual induction is at 10:30 a.m. on that Saturday, the 28th in the Schipper Fitness Center lobby.
