Their season ending nine months ago in November, Central women’s soccer is rarin’ and ready to go in just a few short weeks. During the nine month layoff, head coach Mike Kobylinski has been busy going every which way recruiting high school seniors, and this year he’s thrilled with the level of talent he was able to bring into the program. Kobylinski says that though he may be relatively new to the whole recruiting scene, he was able to add depth to his Dutch squad.
Kobylinski says with the quality of the soccer players he has coming in, he hopes they can be able to compete right away. Central women’s soccer will open up with back-to-back games on August 30 and 31 in Minnesota, against St. Catherine and Northwestern – St. Paul.
