Many question marks dot the Knoxville Football landscape going into the 2013 season. The Panthers lost a lot of offensive production especially at running and receivers. What is not a question mark is the understanding of the tweaked offensive scheme. Coach Troy Rider says the coaching staff has simplified the offense and the players have quickly grasped the philosophy. Quarterback Gerrit Davis returns along with receiver/running back Tanner Dunkin. Also returning with varsity experience will be Ross Shelford. Rider says there is competition for starting spots all over the offense and defense. Rider ads a few sophomores and even a freshman may see some varsity action. Knoxville opens its season next Friday at home against P-C-M.
