While numbers are low for the Knoxville Girls Cross Country Squad, Coach Mike Moats still has two girls that look to have great seasons. Moats says Kalene Schuenke and Courtney Hughs have set their goals very high this season. He says Hughs has a goal of not just going to the state meet but to run in it for the first time in her career. Moats adds McKayla Harrell, Haley Ullestad and Tori Johnson will also fill in varsity spots. Moats says Johnson was a sprinter on the track squad last spring, and is out for cross country this fall.
