Dealing with bigger numbers this season than he did in years past, Pleasantville head cross country coach, Aaron Fichter, is working on goals for both his boys’ and girls’ teams. The girls only had four runners out last season, and this year, instead of being more individually focused, they now have to push each other to get better as a whole. Fichter expects around 10 – 12 girls on the team this year. For the boys, Fichter says they are young, but he’s looking forward to seeing what they can do right away. They have two or three new athletes out and the Trojans’ coach says he’s anxious to see what they can do, as well.
