Wednesday is the 12th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Nearly 3000 people died after the terrorist group al-Qaeda hijacked four separate planes so they could be flown into buildings. Two planes struck the separate World Trade Center buildings, and another flew into the Pentagon. The fourth plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field after passengers fought the hijackers. The causalities included 343 first responders in New York who died after the World Trade Center tours collapsed.
