A former Knoxville resident is returning home this weekend to display his works of art to the community. An artist reception is being held for Andrew Carter tonight. Carter has brought around 40 new acrylic paintings to Art 101 for display. Carter says his pieces are abstract versions of images and scenes. The reception will include appetizers, drinks, and a chance to visit with Carter. It runs from 6-to-9 Saturday night.
