Four goals on ten shots last week was good enough to earn Alayna Bailey her second straight Iowa Conference women’s soccer offensive player of the week award. Her four tallies helped defeat Monmouth 3 – 1 last Wednesday, and then she scored two goals in a 59 second span against Iowa Wesleyan to help her Dutch win big, 15 – 0. Bailey’s nine goals this season are the most in the Iowa Conference by three, and she also has 19 total points to lead the league, as well. The 6 – 2 Dutch get back to the field Thursday to host Cornell before opening Iowa Conference play this weekend.
