Sitting on a huge win over Augustana for the past two weeks, the Central football team is ready to get back onto the field and start playing once again. They’ll have that chance this afternoon when the Dutch host Albion of Michigan. The Dutch lost on the road against the Britons, 35 – 16 last season, but Central has already shown that they are a vastly improved team from a year ago. The Britons enter play 2 – 1 in 2013 with victories over Defiance and Aurora. Central has celebrated homecoming all this week and it will all culminate with this afternoon’s football game. You can listen to today’s game live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at with Trevor Castle calling the play-by-play. He’ll be joined in the booth by Central’s softball coach, George Wares, with Justin Webster doing sideline reporting. The pregame show will start at 12:40 p.m. with kickoff slated for one.
