Volleyball, women’s tennis and men’s soccer were all in action for Central on Tuesday night. The Dutch volleyball squad was swept by Coe, 25 – 20, 25 – 19 and 25 – 19 to fall to 0 – 2 in Iowa Conference matches. Tim Maggard had some huge stops in goal for the Central men’s soccer team to preserve a 1 – 1 tie with North Central Illinois. Women’s tennis salvaged the day for Central, defeating Simpson 6 – 3 to improve to 8 – 1 overall and 4 – 1 in the league.
