Also making their 2013 home debut tonight is the Pella Christian volleyball team, who play Eddyville-Blakesburg. For a few members of the Eagles, the game against the Rockets is a chance to gain a measure of revenge; Eddyville-Blakesburg came from down two sets to nothing to beat Pella Christian and knock them out of the playoffs last year. The Eagles have been blessed with height, especially up front, and Coach Cindy Nikkel says in the time they’ve had to work on things, they’ve worked on using that height to their advantage. The varsity contest will start at seven tonight.
