With the taste of last week’s 40 – 3 loss to PCM hopefully out of their mouths, Pella Christian will try to rebound against Central Decatur to open up their district football schedule. The Eagles could only muster 179 yards of total offense last week, most of which came on the ground. The Cardinals have had more success running the ball than passing this season; quarterback Peyton Pedersen has thrown for only 227 yards with five interceptions and no touchdowns. Pella Christian can fully expect a run-dominated contest tonight from the Cardinals, says Coach Rich Kacmarynski. You can hear the district opener between the Eagles and Cardinals streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Larry Hessing calling the game. Pregame starts at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at seven. There will also be a delayed broadcast on 92.1 KRLS at the conclusion of the KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Radio Scoreboard Show.
