If you had to find a negative about Pella’s 38 – 13 win over Marshalltown last Friday, it would be the number of penalties the team committed. Most of them came in the first half when the starters were out on the field, and a good majority of them were false start or motion infractions. Coach Jay McKinstrey explained that they are switching things up and trying to do a wide variety of things on offense which could account for some of the five-yarders. Pella is in preparation for their clash in Washington with the Demons, whom they beat in overtime last year. That game will be streamed live on tomorrow evening.
