With the heat wave hopefully over for the year, both Pella and PCM’s cross country teams will try to get a meet in this afternoon with cooler temperatures expected. Both schools were supposed to head to Grinnell on Tuesday, but instead, the meet was postponed to today. The Little and Lady Dutch will be there running, again hoping to improve from their times at home on Central’s course. The Pella boys were second in the large schools’ division of their home meet Saturday. PCM on the other hand will go to Johnston for their meet today. The Mustangs looked impressive this past weekend, having two of the fastest girls in our area; both Rachel Stafford and Rachel Peter were 29th and 30th, respectively. The Mustangs’ boys were sixth as a team in the small schools’ division. PCM will get going in Johnston at 4:45 while Pella races at five.
