It’s local author week at the Next Chapter Bookstore on the Knoxville Square. The event begins Tuesday with an afternoon tea at 1:30pm with Jody Vorbrich, author of “Murder in Central Standard Time,” which is set close to home in a fictional Pella-like town. On Thursday at 5:30 pm Pella resident Lee Collins will discuss her multi-generational novel “Too Much Left Unsaid!” On Friday from 3-5:30 pm there will be a local author open house. Guests include Amy Palanjian author of “Sew Pretty! Crochet,” and “So Pretty! Felt,” from Chronicle Books, and Kathryn Daugherty, author of the contemporary romance “A Case of Hearts.” Collins and Daugherty are both members of the Marion County Writer’s Workshop.
