Men’s cross country athlete, Austin O’Brien and women’s tennis player, Megan Davis each won top honors in their respective sports after last week’s performances. O’Brien earned men’s cross country runner of the week after his first place time of just over 26 minutes at the Central Dutch Invitational on Saturday. Meanwhile, Davis swept Dubuque and Loras College in singles and doubles, moving to 4 – 0 on the year in both areas on the tennis courts. It’s a special honor for both O’Brien and Davis, as this is the first time in their careers they have earned the “player of the week” designation.
