The Central men’s golf team finds themselves in a tie for tenth after 36 holes in the 12-team Gordin Division III Classic. The Dutch were invited to play after being one of the top 11 Division III teams for last spring’s NCAA championships along with the host university of the tournament, Ohio Wesleyan. Junior David Watson had Central’s low score, with a pair of 74s to finish nine strokes behind the individual leader. Central as a team shot 611, a total of 35 strokes behind Methodist out of North Carolina. Today’s final round of the tournament is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
