The Central women won their 11th game and recorded their tenth shutout of the season yesterday against William Penn. Emily Saville and Alayna Bailey each scored goals, while goalkeeper Sydney Lunardi made nine saves in goal for the Dutch in a 2 – 0 win over the Statesmen. Central’s women are now 11 – 4 – 2 overall. The men were aided by two goals from Aleksandar Glavas in a 2 – 1 victory in their match with William Penn. Glavas’ second goal came early in the second half to break a one-all tie. The Dutch men are now 9 – 6 – 1 and they will join the women in their trip to Luther this Saturday for an Iowa Conference match-up.
