With the Iowa Conference tournament looming, the Central volleyball team plays a pair of games today in Illinois, hoping to find some momentum heading into next week. The Dutch are 8 – 19 overall, and are in a three-way tie for the sixth spot in the league tourney that starts on November 5. Coach Kent Clayberg says he has seen his girls do some really, really impressive things on the court, but they haven’t been able to get it done consistently throughout a match. The Dutch will take on William Penn and Augustana in tonight’s matches starting at six, and will then play North Park, Illinois and Carthage out of Wisconsin on Saturday. The matches take place at Augustana College.
