Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars will be involved in a pair of fascinating contests tonight in Eight Man football. The Saints will head to Wayne after playing tough in their loss to H-L-V last week. Wayne and Melcher-Dallas are 3-4, respectively, in District 5, each are 4 – 2 overall this year, and a win by the Saints would all but guarantee them a playoff spot. Twin Cedars, instead of sitting around for the second straight week, are anxious to get back onto the football field and play after winning via forfeit by Seymour last Friday. The Sabers will be playing Woodbine out of District 7, who are winless on the season, but play in a district that includes powerhouses such as EHK-Exira, Glidden-Ralston and Coon Rapids-Bayard. Twin Cedars will travel for their game, as well, and both contests are scheduled to kickoff at seven.
