The Knoxville Volleyball Squad fell in three sets to Dallas Center-Grimes last night 25-18, 25-22, and 25-21. The Panthers struggled all night to get a good rhythm going. Coach Liz Sanders told KNIA/KRLS Sports she thought her team was but flatfooted to start, but was able to play better as the match wore on. Leading for Knoxville was Cheyenne Jones with 13 kills and three aces, and Ashley Hawkshead added eight kills. Erica Fee had 13 digs along with Emily Wallace contributing 11. Looking ahead to postseason Cheyenne Jones says the team can make some noise in the postseason. Knoxville finishes the regular season at 19-20 and finishes its final volleyball tour in the Little Hawkeye Conference at 3-4. Next up for the Panthers is the class 4A Regional at Carlisle on Monday.
