PCM will travel to the other side of the state tonight, out east to Mediapolis to take on the Bulldogs in the first round of the Class 2A district football playoffs. Averaging around 35 points per game, the Bulldogs’ offense has paved the way to Mediapolis’ 9 – 0 regular season. However, PCM Coach Greg Bonnett says a lot of the credit can be given to their defense. Nine different players have recovered a fumble for Mediapolis, and they’ve intercepted eight passes on the year, while holding teams to just 13 points per game on average. Bonnett added he would like his Mustangs’ defense to stop more third down plays to get their offense back on the field. Justin Webster and Brian Hazelton make the long road trip and will call the game for you live on with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m.
