A long road trip, inclement weather, and a tough opponent proved to be too much for PCM as they lost 21-0 at Mediapolis Wednesday night. The Mustang defense pitched a shutout over the final three quarters of the game, but unfortunately, as head coach Greg Bonnett put it, it was 21-0 before they knew what hit them. Rain soaked the field, making it difficult for either team to accumulate much offense. PCM ran the ball 28 times for 49 yards, while Logan Gilman went 3-for-13 passing for 11 yards. The Mustangs finished the 2013 campaign 4 – 6 and will have a stable full of talent coming back for 2014. That includes Logan Gilman who will enter the season with 11 career starts at quarterback, including 2 postseason road games.
