Football fans are just one day away from the huge clash between Pella and Oskaloosa for the Class 3A District 8 championship. Pella will come into tomorrow’s game undefeated on the season at 7 – 0, while Oskaloosa started the season 0 – 2 but have won their last five. The Indians will bring a dynamic offense to the table, one that Coach Jay McKinstrey says will be hard for his defense to stop. In their five wins, Oskaloosa has scored 230 points for an average of 46 points per game. Their two losses to Indianola and Grinnell, the Indians scored 67 points. The big key to tomorrow’s game for the Little Dutch will be if they can stop Andrew Landgrebe, who has rushed for over 1,300 yards and 21 touchdowns. For Oskaloosa, if Pella is able to stop their leading rusher, the Indians will need to have someone step up and make some plays. Tomorrow night’s contest will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
