A soggy evening is expected throughout the state tonight, but as we’ve seen through five weeks of football, nothing appears to be able to stop the Pella High Little Dutch. Chariton is charged with that task this evening when the “green team” comes to town. Pella has ridden the “backs” of their team speed to a 5 – 0 record, but tonight may play out a little differently should the weather become a factor. Coach Jay McKinstrey says that even though both teams will be playing on the same field, if it gets sloppy, it will be a bigger disadvantage to his Little Dutch. Tonight’s game will be aired live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live on with Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema on the call. Pregame coverage starts immediately following our KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show at 7:00 p.m. with kickoff at 7:30.
