Sitting at a 5 – 0 record, the Pella High football team is flying high, and have been using their team speed and frustrating defense to their advantage. The majority of Pella’s offense has been on the ground; they’ve gained 1,321 rushing yards which has equated to nearly three-quarters of their total offense. Four backs have carried the ball for over 100 yards, including Nathan Henry, Noah Clayberg, Lukas Steenhoek and Quinton Murphy. Coach Jay McKinstrey says that spreading the wealth has been a huge key to their success so far. Pella will look for their sixth win of the season in as many games tomorrow night on the road at Chariton.
