The Fairfield volleyball tournament saw both Twin Cedars and PCM each notch a win on Saturday. PCM’s win came over Centerville two sets to one; the Mustangs lost game one 17 – 25, but won the next two 25 – 17 and 15 – 8. PCM lost to Fairfield in straight sets 22 – 25 and 10 – 25 and to Davis County 15 – 25 and 9 – 25. The Twin Cedars win came over PCM in consecutive sets of 25 – 19. The Sabers, however, would only beat the Mustangs, as they lost to Fairfield 13 – 25 and 19 – 25 and to Davis County 12 – 25 and 9 – 25. PCM finishes the regular season 5 – 23 and the Sabers end at 10 – 11. The Mustangs next play in the Class 3A regional tournament next Monday against Bondurant-Farrar while the Sabers will host Tri-County in their Class 1A regional opener tomorrow night.
