Pella and Pella Christian’s volleyball teams have been on a roll as of late, and the two schools will go head-to-head for a conference match-up tonight, all for a good cause. Tonight’s game has been dubbed “Better Together” night on behalf of the local ministry “Many Hands for Haiti.” Both the Eagles and Lady Dutch will be warming up with special shirts, and anyone in attendance can even make recycled diapers for the Bundled Bottoms program for an infant in Haiti. Member of the Lady Dutch, Taelor Rempe, says that though the two schools battle fiercely when they get together, outside of sports, both can come together for the greater good. Lauren Jungling of the Pella Christian Eagles says that it’s a friendly rivalry when the two teams clash. The ninth grade and JV contests are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. with varsity slated for a 7:15 opening serve.
