In a game that could very well come down to the last play, both Pella High and Washington meet at Pella High Stadium, with a trip to the UNI-Dome and the Class 3A State Football Semifinals on the line. The Little Dutch came from behind to defeat the Demons in early September 14 – 7. In that contest, Trevor Argo was injured and Noah Clayberg stepped up and carried his team to victory. Pella’s defense was also prevalent in that game, holding the Demons to just 18 yards on the ground, and allowed only a 70-yard touchdown reception through the air. Coach Jay McKinstrey says Washington will be much harder to defend, as they changed their offensive schemes after their first meet-up. Tonight’s game will be heard live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at with Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema on the call. Pregame coverage starts after the KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show at 6:30 p.m. with kick-off at seven.
