It’s home course advantage for the Central College cross country teams tomorrow, as they’ll play host to the Iowa Conference championships. Last year, the men won their first ever league title by finishing 1-2-3 individually to beat second-place Loras by 17 points. This season, the men enter ranked ninth according to the most recent polls, and are primed for a repeat. The women appear to be having some of their best outings and just the right time, too, and will try to pull off the win after finishing fourth in 2012 at last year’s conference meet. Coach Joe Dunham says that he doesn’t really know much about most of the other Iowa Conference schools because they really haven’t seen many of them this year. The women will race at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, with the men beginning at noon.
