Scoring just over 11 points per game, Central’s football team makes the trip back to Dubuque this afternoon to take on Loras for an Iowa Conference showdown. The Dutch come in 4 – 3 overall and are on a two-game winning streak, and could lock up their 53rd consecutive non-losing season with a victory today. There really aren’t many impressive statistics to show for the Duhawks this year; they are 1 – 6 overall, average 97 yards on the ground and 105 through the air, and get outgained overall by better than a 2:1 ratio. Despite the fact that Loras is in last place and hasn’t won a game in the Iowa Conference, Dutch Head Coach, Jeff McMartin and his staff aren’t taking the Duhawks lightly. You can hear today’s game live on 92.1 KRLS with Trevor Castle and Cory Houser on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 12:40 p.m. with kick-off at one.
