The PCM football team in 2013 was up for any task. They were only “blown out” in one game, and that was their loss to Albia, 49 – 6. The Mustangs had opportunities to win in a couple competitive games with Davis County and Bondurant-Farrar, but fell just short in each, losing by five and seven points, respectively. The mistakes made in those games that let their opponents escape with victories involved giving up big plays and not being able to recover from them, says Coach Greg Bonnett. Bonnett adds that the same thing happened in their loss to the Blue Jays, where they gave up a big play after following their keys for most of the game. PCM finished with a mark of 4 – 6.
