It took overtime for the Dutch women to topple Grinnell, 80 – 71. Central was trailing by one at intermission, but sprinted off to a quick lead in the extra five minute period and held on. Central’s women shot 48% from the field while the Pioneers shot just 31%. Each team is 1 – 0 to begin the year; the women will host Blackburn, Illinois this Tuesday while the men are at home against Eureka, Illinois on Wednesday.
