The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad will start its farewell tour through the Little Hawkeye Conference on December sixth against one of the conference favorites, Grinnell. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says the conference will be difficult to win with an unknown in Dallas Center-Grimes, but he is not discounting his own team. Two of the conference teams are ranked in preseason. Dallas Center-Grimes is fourth in class 4A, while Grinnell, who won nine games last year is 12th. Knoxville already had a win over a ranked opponent as P-C-M came into Friday night’s contest ranked 14th in class 3A.
