On Saturday, Congressman Dave Loebsack met with Central College students, Vermeer workers and representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock to view the construction of the natural playscape project which was delayed last month due to the partial government shutdown. Workers from Vermeer are participating as a way to celebrate the company’s 65th anniversary. Also on hand were Central students, Pella elementary students and other volunteers.
