Being the first PCM cross country runner in the 21st Century to be represented at the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge, Rachel Stafford is going in with seemingly no pressure being put on her. On paper, just based on times, Stafford is ranked 49th out of 50 runners individually in the Class 2A division. Mustangs’ head coach, Eric Karr says that he is expecting a huge turnout of support to go up with her today, including the entire PCM cross country boys’ and girls’ teams. Karr adds that it’s not just Stafford racing in Fort Dodge today, but the whole program, both now and in the future. The girls’ 2A meet is schedule to start at 1:00 p.m.
