Seeing his first varsity action this season, Pella High boys’ basketball senior, Nathan Clayberg showed signs of “his old self” against Grinnell a little over a week ago. Admittedly, Coach Mark Core says Clayberg didn’t have many practices before the game against the Tigers, so he may have been thrown into the fire a tad. Core says that despite that, Clayberg did earn rave reviews from the coaching staff. Pella’s sitting at 5 – 2 right now and open play in 2014 with a home game against Pella Christian a week from Tuesday.
