The Pella Christian boys’ basketball team hosted Albia Tuesday night, but the Blue Demons were anything but polite guests, beating the Eagles 58-46. The Eagles were led by Josh Posthuma who scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds. The Demons were on fire from the perimeter, as they were led in scoring by junior point guard Matt Baker who tallied 33 points for the visitors. The loss drops Pella Christian to 4-3 with just one game before the holiday break which will be Saturday in Orange City where they will face Unity Christian.
