Knoxville’s Community Service Officer Arlene Worrall says that overall, Knoxville residents did a very good job of complying with Knoxville’s snow ordinance last week. She said as of Friday, the city had received 9 complaints from residents of snow not being removed, so city crews were dispatched to do the shoveling. Worrall would like to remind all residents it is the responsibility of the property owner to remove snow from the sidewalks in front of their houses; if city crews must do it, fees may be assessed. If you need help, call the police department at 828-05-41, and she will get you in touch with someone who can help.
