Pella High had a split night on the wrestling mats yesterday. They started by dropping their Little Hawkeye Conference opener to Newton, 50 – 30. Chase Petty, Levi Azinger, and Jake Speltz each picked up falls, as did Ashton Messer at 182. The Little Dutch had a few more forfeits with their dual with Carlisle, but prevailed 41 – 39.
